Higher Ground Music Show # 18

This has been a hectic week, but it always is when I travel. Peace out to the OKAYPLAYER at the Detroit picnic! We did it up like we always do and getting to know all these guys is cool! I will be hanging with Rock & Roll Hall of Fame bluesman Buddy Guy tomorrow at Best Buy in Downers Grove, IL. Best Buy is carrying music instruments in select stores now, so we shall see how that goes. It's also been mighty hot in Chicago..DAMN! For the music this week, I got new jams from Incognito, Noel Gourdin, Hil St. Soul, Esperanza Spalding(a personal favorite) and Robin Thicke. The second hour of the show will be a one hour AFROBEAT explosion. I had such a great response to the show last week, that I am doing an hour of afrobeat on the show from now on!
