Hi all, first I hope everyone had a great week. I did! Not just kickin' it with family, but I was called to play drums at Detroit's famous Baker's Keyboard Lounge on Saturday the 24th! I got to play with some fantastic musicians, Scott Gwinnell on Piano, John Baron on Bass and me on Drums as we backed Singer Shahida N'urallah. It was fantastic! I'm bloggin now......
This is the first blog of mine centered around music. Right now it will be centered around my internet music show, Higher Ground, which plays on Friday's from 7:something pm - 2am eastern time on wkcronline.com. I'm playing all kinds of music, but it's music I feel is of super high quality. Neo Soul, Old school genres of funk, soul, rare grooves, lounge music from all corners of the world(Cuba, Italy, Spain, France, India, Tokyo, Australia), Jazz, Latin, Afro-Beat, or basically, anything chill worthy, club worthy, lounge worthy, or ear..worthy???(is that a word!)
